SUMMARY:Thwarted Belongingness: Addressing Workplace Incivility among First Responders (Webinar)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a webinar focused on tackling workplace incivility and its impact on the mental health and well-being of first responders. Drawing on Dr. Thomas Joiner’s Interpersonal Theory of Suicide\, we’ll discuss “Thwarted Belongingness”—the feeling of disconnection—and how it can arise in high-stress environments.                                Participants will learn how incivility contributes to isolation\, hinders camaraderie\, and heightens mental health risks\, along with practical tools to foster respect and inclusivity. \nThis course featuring interactive\, didactic learning experiences is open to all first responders and professionals serving first responders\, with a particular emphasis on counties served by LSF Health Systems. \n  \n
