The conference theme is Innovation Through Collaboration: Shaping the Future of First Responder Mental Wellness. The Summit is a transformative gathering to empower first responders to foster mental wellness within their own lives and organizations. First responder family members, behavioral health clinicians, and others working to build resiliency among first responders are welcome to attend.

Struggle Well Training

The objective of Struggle Well Training is to enable participants to prepare, practice, and implement an individualized plan for personal growth by transforming struggle into strength, enabling them to be of continued service to themselves, their family, their work, their community, and their country. Virtual Peer Support Training

After completing the IAFF Peer Support Training, participants will have the necessary knowledge and skills to provide support to their peers; educate brothers and sisters about behavioral health issues such as PTSD and resilience; serve as a bridge to behavioral health programs and community resources; and build or enhance their peer support programs.

Virtual Resiliency Training

The IAFF Resiliency Training is focused on building individual and organizational resilience. Through a combination of self-assessment, didactic instruction, group discussion, and video, participants will learn essential factors that contribute to personal resiliency and gain practical stress management skills to be applied on and off the job. Registration closes on 5/13.

Virtual Peer Support Training

After completing the IAFF Peer Support Training, participants will have the necessary knowledge and skills to provide support to their peers about behavioral health issues such as PTSD and resilience; serve as a bridge to behavioral health programs and community resources; and build or enhance their peer support programs. Registration closes 5/27.
