Struggle Well is a prevention-focused program based on the science of Posttraumatic Growth. By partnering with first responder agencies and active-duty military units, we’re fundamentally changing the culture from the inside-out.

After completing the IAFF Peer Support Training, participants will have the necessary knowledge and skills to provide support to their peers; educate brothers and sisters about behavioral health issues such as PTSD and resilience; serve as a bridge to behavioral health programs and community resources; and build or enhance their peer support programs.

The conference theme is Innovation Through Collaboration: Shaping the Future of First Responder Mental Wellness. The Summit is a transformative gathering to empower first responders to foster mental wellness within their own lives and organizations. First responder family members, behavioral health clinicians, and others working to build resiliency among first responders are welcome to attend.
