The objective of Struggle Well Training is to enable participants to prepare, practice, and implement an individualized plan for personal growth by transforming struggle into strength, enabling them to be of continued service to themselves, their family, their work, their community, and their country.  

After completing the IAFF Peer Support Training, participants will have the necessary knowledge and skills to provide support to their peers; educate brothers and sisters about behavioral health issues such as PTSD and resilience; serve as a bridge to behavioral health programs and community resources; and build or enhance their peer support programs.
